for Loveland's top political office.

Staff at the The Black Steer visit after Councilwoman Jan
Brown and friends fail to keep their reservations for a
"large" crowd on an election night in anticipation of victory.  
Instead, Cecil Gutierrez (who was out of town the night of
the election) beat Brown in a 57%-42% landslide.  It
appears Brown couldn't muster the courage to face her
supporters nor they her after her crushing and humiliating
defeat.
Deanna Ball and Carla Massaro celebrate their victory in passing campaign
finance election reform Tuesday night. The Democrat and Republican team
gathered over 1,000 signatures to qualify the measure and later lobbied citizens
to pass the measure.  Their tireless efforts were well rewarded when nearly 70%
of Loveland voter passed the amendment to the City Charter by a landslide.
