Mostly boring. I nearly fell asleep. Gene Pielin did say he was going to study a Colorado Springs council and how they listen to the community and involve citizens in decisions. Yeah Gene - it is called following the law by not meeting in secret on the trolley!

It makes me sick to my stomach to see Brown, Pielin, Dozier and Heckel say we need better communication between the public and council.

Are these not the same cowards who met in secret to prevent the public from knowing their true views on giving McWhinney a taxpayer funded trolley? Are these not the same cowards who give special treatment to McWhinney and ignore the public's anger? Were they not sitting on $1,000 seats the public clearly told them not to buy?

They must think Loveland voters are out to lunch. Well, not this one.

Right, now with an election around the corner they finally want to start listening to us. I say don't vote any of these people back into office. They had plenty of times to fight for primary jobs in Loveland, build better, fund a light rail solution to Denver and return the $1000 chairs they sit on after the public was out raged.

Our children are not allowed to view inappropriate material on the internet – so we have blocked the myspace website of Troy Krenning (candidate for Mayor) son’s page which is full of pornography and racial slurs. He even quotes his Dad "B4 i c my son n Boulder I will see my son n HELL!!" (Male. 16 years old. loveland, COLORADO).

How can Troy Krenning govern our city if he can’t even successfully govern his own household? Is this the way he talks to his children? His attack on Senator Allard during the recent candidate forum combined with this garbage his son broadcasts on the internet means he will not be receiving a vote for Mayor from our household.

Gene Pielin doesn’t just pretend to be a decent man in public, he is also a decent man in private. We are voting for Pielin this time for Mayor. Troy Krenning needs to stop running for Mayor and spend some time evaluating his life choices and possibly get his family into Christian counseling.

If you do not have young children around and have an open (unrestricted access) to adult sites on the internet, just search for “Krenning” along with the quote from Troy Krenning above and you will find his son’s MySpace site. We cannot put the direct link here since this posting was already twice removed for “inappropriate links.” The rules here are stupid since this adult site has to do with Loveland Politics. It is very apparant Troy Krenning does not hold the same moral values we try to live up to in my household. By no means is my family perfect, but that internet site would absolutely not be allowed if it were my son. I agree, if the man cannot properly discipline his own son, how can he govern a city. How can a former police officer allow his son to put on a public domain that he is a "gangsta" and likes drive by shootings?

Mr. Krenning, please help your son first before you try to help our city.

Yes, it looks like he is – that is the Mayor Pro Tem Gene Pielin. He works for a landscaping business and may have been stung by a tsetse fly when importing exotic flowers or plants from Sub-Saharan Africa. I am afraid he isn’t really bored at Council meetings but could be falling asleep quickly due to an illness resulting from the tsetse fly bite called trypanosomiasis otherwise known as Sleeping Sickness.

If this is the case, your video showing him asleep at so many different Council meetings really isn’t funny. You should not poke fun at someone for a sleeping illness as it is a serious condition we have been researching at my CSU infectious disease course on microbiology.

If someone knows Gene Pielin (I don’t know the man) they should encourage him to get a blood test right away to see if this is why he keeps falling asleep. Admitting you have a problem is often the most important step to getting help so people who work with him should be recording the number of times he falls asleep during meetings since he probably has no idea that he is even falling asleep so often.

Lastly, he should consult the microbiology lab at CSU if he tests positive so we can report the case to the CDC (Center for Disease Control). Please stop showing that video until he gets checked out and you can confirm his sleeping is due to something other than Sleeping Sickness.

WE REALLY LOVED THE MUPPETS VIDEO - IT WAS FANTASTIC! OUR WHOLE FAMILY COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING. WE ARE INSIDE DUE TO THE SNOW AND THOUGHT WE WOULD CATCH-UP ON LOVELAND POLITICS. THE OLD MEN IN THE BALCONY WAS SPOT ON.
