I told my wife this morning - there you have it. The Reporter-Herald candidate web profile talks about her like she has been here forever and says her time in Loveland is 31 YEARS! Maybe in Colorado but NOT Loveland.

What good is journalism when all they do is repeat lies other people tell them?

Did you see Troy Krenning's time in Loveland? 45 years according to the Reporter-Herald! Gee, he is only 45 years old so he must have never been police chief of that little town in Kansas!

Why can't these guys just tell the truth instead of always trying to gain some little advantage by stretching the truth.

Someday we might have a real newspaper in town and someone might really check their information.

The Reporter-Herald is undeniably the poorest example of professional jouranlism published today. Given what passes for professional journalism nowadays that does not say much, though.

Is she a McWhinney stooge? She said she would ask questions of them and their development - i.e. why are they treated better than other developers, is growth too fast, is their request for subsidies too much since malls last 10-20 years at most (City subsidies to McWhinney last 25 years ... hmmm.) The only Councilors I've really seen question McWhinney are Glen Rousey (too little, too late) and Walt Skowron, for what its worth. Even Jan "Downtown" Brown has sold out, so it seems. So, what does Johnson's comment, "glad they're here but we need to question the incentives" approach mean? She was annointed by Peilin, so I hear.

Don't know. No write-in candidate so the seat is already hers. I guess we are all burned on hearing Councilors talk tough about McWhinney (like on the Trolley) but than roll upside down like a submissive dog so McWhinney can rub their bellies. (by refusing to vote no even when the community is up in arms about it).

Your article was too rough. She seems like a tough person who Pielin cannot control even if he recruited her. I predict she will be great!

How come no coverage of the Mayor's race? Seems like nobody knows this baby face Troy but I saw Don Marostica putting up signs for him in my neighborhood. I don't think Gene has a chance.
